出《名醫(yī)別錄》。為豆科植物黃芪Astragalus membranaceus(Fisch．)Bge．或內(nèi)蒙古黃芪A．mongholicus Bge．等的莖葉。升清滋液，通絡(luò)消腫。治口渴，筋攣，癰腫，疽瘡。煎服：9～15克。
